SURPRISE!

Top Chef Season 12 Episode 11 featured a shocker for many contestants, as the hopefuls reunited with some family members.

They then found out that these loved ones would serve as their sous chefs in their next Elimination Challenge, which centered around them having make one appetizer and one entrée.

And in yet ANOTHER twist, the chefs discovered that they couldn't touch the appetizers, leaving only their family members responsible for that dish.

With an automatic ticket to the Top Chef finals at stake, the chefs’ nearest and dearest had to take orders quickly if they are to hold up their end of the meal.
