We kick off Monday Night Raw with John Cena confronting Randy Orton in the ring. Just as they're about to go at it, Chris Jericho and The Big Show's music hits. Out come the tag champs.
Also out comes this week's guest host, Sgt. Slaughter. He sets up the main event of Cena vs. Jericho, as well as Big Show vs. Orton.

- Gail Kim gets a future title shot at Mickie James by defeating Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and Beth Phoenix.

- We see a video. In it, Triple H is in Texas tonight in search of his "long, lost tag partner," Shawn Michaels. Announcers sa they'v heard HBK has taken on a new profession, which we'll see footage of later tonight on RAW.

- Jack Swagger powerbombed Evan Bourne for a win; MVP confronts Swagger after the match.

- Video segment: Triple H finds Michales. He's working as a chef at a restaurant. Weird.

- The Calgary Kid defeats Eugene in a Contract on a Pole Match.

- Orton gets himself counted out against The Big Show. Lame ending.

- In another awful video segment, Triple H is trying to convince HBK to come back and take on Legacy. HBK seems focused on his new job, but then comes around the the kitchen catches fire.

- MVP defeats Chris Masters; Swagger and Masters them team up and take out MVP.

- Legacy defeats Mark Henry & Hornswoggle; match set against DX for SummerSlam.

- John Cena and Chris Jericho fight to a no contest when Orton interferes. Slaughter come out and makes next week's main event: Chris Jericho & Big Show against John Cena & Randy Orton.
