David Oyelowo is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II in 2016 for his services to drama.
David, in association with The Geanco Foundation, established the David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship to rehabilitate and educate girls who have been directly affected by terrorism in Nigeria.
Oyelowo has had roles in several films, including See How They Run, Selma, The Waterman, Come Away, The Cloverfield Paradox, and Interstellar.
TV Fans will know him from his roles in series, including Pandemica, The Girl Before, and Silo.
David Oyelowo can currently be seen in the starring role of the Paramount+ series Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
