Shining Vale

Mira Sorvino is the daughter of veteran character actor Paul Sorvino. She graduated from Harvard University magna cum laude in 1989, majoring in Chinese. She spent a year in Beijing and speaks fluent Mandarin.

As her acting career took off, she garnered roles in movies such as Barcelona, Quiz Show, Mighty Aphrodite, and Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion.

TV fans will recognize her from her roles in many series, including The Last Templar, Psych, Intruders, Stalker, Falling Skies, Condor, Start Up, Modern Family, The Expecting, and American Crime Story.

Mira Sorvino can currently be seen as Rosemary in the Starz series Shining Vale.
