Yeo Yann Yann

Yeo Yann Yann (pronounced “yen-yen”) is a Malaysian-born, Singapore-based actress who has had an extensive career on stage, television, and film.
She features on American Born Chinese, the Disney+ adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, as Christine Wang, the strong-willed but loving mother of the series’s protagonist, Jin.
Yeo speaks many languages fluently — Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, Hokkien, English — and has learned Hakka and Toisan. For a role on Modern Love: Mumbai, she learned Hindi.
Yeo is married and has a daughter.
