NCIS Promo: Will Gibbs Go Rogue?!

at .

What happens when the NCIS frames someone for murder?

That's the big question on NCIS Season 15 Episode 7 as the team rushes to find out whether a convicted felon is telling the truth.

Senior FBI Agent Fornell - NCIS

The case of the week unravels as a man swears that the NCIS team set him up for a murder a decade before.

This presents quite the conundrum for the team as everyone struggles to conclude whether the man is feeing them lies in order to get a chance at being set free.

Jack notes that opening the case back up could lead to the man being tried again and being sent down for longer, but will that be something the team will consider when taking on the case?

Maria Bello Is In! - NCIS

Considering Gibbs snaps at one point when he realizes the true extent of the lies, we think it's fair to assume that the NCIS did set the man up.

How will the rest of the team react if this does ring true?

It's sure to cause a whole lot of drama because everything they thought they knew would make them upset.

Have a look at the full trailer below and return here next Tuesday as we review the full episode!

NCIS Season 15 Episode 7 Quotes

Gibbs: Lawyer’s calling me to the stand. If I tell the truth, a man would lose everything. This man… known him a long time. Has a daughter.
Sloane: He’s your friend. Mm. And if you lie to protect your friend, you could be re-sentencing an innocent man to death.
Gibbs: Yeah.
Sloane: That is quite a conundrum, isn’t it? So, what do you think of my cabinet?
Gibbs: I think you’re trying to distract me with a handcrafted piece of furniture.
Sloane: And why would I do that?
Gibbs: Because you don’t know the answers any more than me.
Sloane: You’re right. It *is* handmade.

I’ve been carrying this around so long, I didn’t know the right thing anymore. But I knew you would.
