Just like its "big brother," American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance kicked off another season last night with the first of its audition rounds.

Kicking off in New York, the familiar faces are back - Cat Deeley handling hosting duties, Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy at the judges table - and in the season premiere, they had quite a turnout in New York City.

In the end, performers from a variety of disciplines, and with a wide array of abilities, made their debuts last night.
