Peggy McCay: Pictures of a Geisha

Peggy McCay recently fulfilled a dream:

She took a two-week trip to Japan. As you can tell by the picture below, this Days of Our Lives star fully embraced the culture:

"Isn't this astonishing? I read about [being made up as a geisha] and I thought, I'm an actress. Why don't I do that? So I did," McCay said to Soap Opera Digest.

"The makeup and the costume only took an hour. The makeup artist I had was very good. What I found surprising is that the makeup is very light, but the costume is very heavy. When they wrap you in the obi there are three wrappings. It's quite bulky and heavy, but it doesn't look like it would be."
