Bill Germanakos was named the winner of The Biggest Loser last night.
He became the fourth-season champion by staring the competition at 334 pounds - and then shedding 164 of them, good for a 49.10% weight-loss percentage. As a result, he claimed the show's $250,000 grand prize
"Thank you so much!" said Bill after being the last fourth-season finalist to weigh-in during the finale. He was quickly mobbed on-stage by his family. "This is what I did it for... These guys right here."
The 40-year-old from Long Island, defeated fellow finalists Julie Hadden, Hollie Self and Isabeau Miller based on his total percentage weight-loss since his initial The Biggest Loser weigh-in.
