Mary J. Blige: Excited for Return on One Life To Live

at .

Previous reports had indicated Mary J. Blige would perform on One Life to Live for back-to-back episodes airing this Thursday and Friday. Now, however, it appears as though the award-winning singer will appear on February 15 and February 18 instead.

Either way, she's excited to make a return to Llanview

"It's absolutely amazing to be integrated into a soap opera I've watched since I was a little girl," said Blige. "I performed on the show two years ago and had a ball, and I am beyond thrilled to be welcomed back again."

Brian Frons, Daytime President of Disney ABC-Television Group is equally psyched.

"Mary J. Blige represents another of today's top recording artists who sees the power of ABC Daytime as a promotional platform to reach the highly engaged, passionate audience of women 18-49," he said. "Music is an important component to daytime storytelling -- it is relevant, contemporary and builds emotional intensity."

Blige will perform on One Life to Live as part of Starr Manning's 16th birthday party. We simply went bowling for our 16th birthday celebration.

Antonio: What would you call that, Jessica?
Jessica: Doing what I have to do. Mitch has hurt my family in every way possible and I want to make sure that not only does he pay, that he never hurts my family again.
Antonio: Oh yeah? Well, not tonight you're not.

Natalie: Everything's going to be fine, guys. Just - just do what he says.
Flash: How can you be so calm?
Natalie: I don't know if I am calm, okay? I just - I've been through worse.
Flash: Yeah? Like what?
Natalie: Oh, like being strapped to a table and your grandfather ready to cut your heart out.
Flash: Oh. Yeah, you got me beat, then. Never mind
