Shell Kepler, Former General Hospital Star, Passes Away

Shell Kepler, who played nurse Amy Vining on General Hospital for more than 20 years, died yesterday in Portland, Oregon.

The cause of death was of renal failure.

After her stint on General Hospital ended, Kepler moved to Portland and got involved in a lot of charity work. She was 49.

I was very sorry to hear about the passing of Shell Kepler. I truly hope the show finds a way to honor her memory with some mention of her.. That nursing station was always pivitol in GH. 1st we had Jessie, then Amy and now Epiphany :)
