Wow. Last night's episode of So You Think You Can Dance was very difficult to analyze in the sense that everybody knocked it out.
Except for Mary Murphy. God, we want to vote HER off.
Here's a little analysis of each pair's performances, as well as our power rankings of the solos for each of the final six.
Chelsie Hightower and Twitch Boss – Mambo
A hip hop dancer straight up owning the mambo? Damn, Twitch! Fool has got skills. As for Chelsie? Yeah, she was spectacular, but since Latin is her thing, we sort of expected it. She's set the bar too high!
Chelsie Hightower and Twitch Boss – Hip Hop
Other routines outshined this one tonight, but only because of the way this was choreographed. Chelsie and Twitch dominated as always, making them strong contenders for the So You Think You Can Dance title.
Mark Kanemura and Courtney Galiano – Jazz
This had the potential to disappoint, but Mark and Courtney bought into it all the way and it showed in their performance.
Mark Kanemura and Courtney Galiano – Viennese Waltz
Again, one of our least favorite styles of dance featured on So You Think You Can Dance, yet Mark and Courtney pulled it off. Amazing. It didn't pack too much punch, but still, it was better than most routines we've seen.
Josh Allen and Katee Shean – Contemporary
There is no better duo this season than Josh and Katee. They are outstanding dancers who give 100 percent and have never landed in the bottom - for good reason. This contemporary routine was beautifully executed and proved yet again why they are the prohibitive favorites at this point.
Josh Allen and Katee Shean – Paso Doble
A paso doble is a paso doble, usually, but this one stood out? Why? Josh and Katee together. You need little else for sparks to fly.
