Raya Meddine Comments on The Young and the Restless Exit
When those in charge of The Young and the Restless cast Raya Meddine as Sabrina, they incorporated actual information from the actress's life into her character: Both women have fathers who were diplomats, both were raised in Europe, and both speak several languages and are well traveled.
Such traits should help the actress move on, now that the series has let her go.
"Life is constant change," Meddine said. "You need to be ready to pick up, move on, be strong, adapt and go on to the next phase without resisting."
Raya Meddine has been let go from The Young and the Restless.

I'm sure the decision makers let Raya go because she is beautiful beyond beauty and the other actresses were jealous. She also was a good actress. What a shame to have let her go, although it was a big mistake hooking her up with the evil 'Mustache'. She could have done much better if only the show had Creative Writers...Which we all know they Do NOT. They should bring Don Diamonte and Raya back, hook them up together in love relationship, join Jack & Adam to take down Satan himself once and for ever all ,(Victor).
