I love GH but I AM ALSO A AFRICAN AMERICAN, AND I HAVE TO ADMIT. THERE ARE NO AFRICAN AMERICANS ON THE SHOW COMPARED TO WHITE ACTOR'S AND ACTRESS'S. SO IT DOES MAKES YOU WONDER WHAT'S GOING ON. ALSO THE COMMENT COMING FROM TOYA, I THINK YOU ARE CRAZY, YOU SHOULD WANT TO SEE OUR RACE ON TV. GROW UP....

I agree with the comment about GH not having enough African American actors. There have been some very talented actors on the show, but they never last for long. I was hoping that some of the actors from Night Shift would become a part of the daytime show. I really enjoyed Cassius from Night Shift. He is a very talented singer. This is something that the show need as well. All My Children and One Life to Live has done an excellent job in bringing a variety of musical talent to daytime. I enjoyed Rick Sprinfield, but there could be more variety. For a long time, GH was the only soap that I watched. After the return of Jessie and Angie, and also the casting of Mario Van Peebles, along with some of the other very powerful actors,to All My Children, I am now watching them everyday. I hope that GH will be as loyal to their African American fans as they have been to them.

I am a fan of GH but why do they not have more African American actors on the show. The only person is Sonya Eddy and she you would almost think she does not have a contract. She is a wonderful actress also."Lannie" is in the opening credit but she is rarely on the show. AMC has done a wonderful job with casting AF-Am's but shame to GH. They get so many new actors but rarely AF-AM and we have given you ratings for years. Shame, Shame.
