It's not Katie Holmes or Michelle Williams.

But Joshua Jackson will still be sharing the screen on an upcoming Fringe episode with a former Dawson's Creek co-star.

Mary Beth Peil, who portrayed Jen's grandmother on the teen drama for five years, will cross paths with Jackson's Peter Bishop early next year.

According to TV Guide Peil's character, Jessica Warren, is vital to the Fringe mythology. She's the mother of a young woman that was killed two decades years ago in an explosion at Walter's lab, the incident that led to his incarceration. Jessica appears when she finds out that Walter has been released from the mental institution.

Look for this Fringe episode to air in January.
