An Interview with Michelle Stafford

by at . Comments

Does Phyllis ever look back and feel she is responsible for breaking up Sharon and Nick?

This insightful question was posed to Michelle Stafford by Michael Fairman during a recent interview.

Here's what The Young and the Restless star had to say in response:

Personally, sometimes I have an opinion on the way a story is told. But, one person does not make up for the all the reasons marriages fail. If Phyllis and Nick fall apart, it would not be Sharon who broke it up. I am talking as Michelle. Things break up for many, many reasons in life. Relationships fall apart not because one person stole them away.

That’s silly, and Phyllis doesn’t feel that way. Phyllis and Nick got together because the loss Sharon and Nick had with Cassie was too great for them, and they couldn’t get together. Then Brad came into the picture, and Sharon went to him for support. Nick went to Phyllis for support and he fell in love with her, and that’s kind of what happened.

No Nick and Phyllis need to stay happily married and Sharon needs to stay away. She has all kinds of Men who want her - Nick and Phyllis have a wonderful Romance, Love, Sex Life and they are good Friends too. I hate it when Sharon starts her whinning.
Phyllis is much more fufilling to Nick than Sharon was - plus I'm partial to Red Heads.
Hang in there Phyllis, you little you know what you are girl . . . .

I am looking forward to a Nick and Sharon reunion and to Phyllis being the bad *$##tch that she is.

The Young and the Restless Quotes

That was Victor's doing. It was purely personal. Believe me, old moneybags is going to eat his words. The magazine is gonna do great, and beauty of nature will be left in the dust.

How'd you ever turn out to be so cold with your father?
