Ratings Report: A Boost for Bones

Lie to Me might grow to resent its fellow Fox series.

Bones, airing a special Wednesday night episode, improved on the Tim Roth show's previous performance by 26 percent, earning 10.8 million viewers last night.

Among other primetime pickings:

• American Idol (23.5 million) ran even with last week.

• Lost (9 million) enjoyed an increase.

• Scrubs (5.3 million) and Better Off Ted (4.7 million) were down.
