Ratings Report: Viewers Flee from Glee

Come on, American Idol fans!

While 24.3 million fans tuned in to see Adam Lambert versus Kris Allen in the eighth season finale last night, only half that many stuck around for the series premiere of Glee.

The musical/comedy only saw 12.5 million viewers tune in for its pilot episode, while that number dropped to nine million over the final 30 minutes.

This is very disheartening. Glee is an original, entertaining series. Give it a chance.
