First Look, Listen: Trent Reznor Featured in Fringe Promo

This is very cool.

While a new Fringe episode won't air until November 5, the show premieres a new promo spot tonight... featuring Nine Inch Nails singer Trent Reznor!

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, the drama approached Reznor and asked him about using the song "Zero-Sum" in a commercial for the series. He did them one better:

Reznor recites lines of dialogue by William Bell during the ad, a favor he did for free.

“We offered him compensation, and he said, ‘No, no, I just want to have fun and be part of something cool,’” said producer Jeff Pinkner. “How often do you get the chance to work with somebody like that?”
