Joshua Jackson to Fringe Fans: Save Our Show!

by at . Comments

In a new wide-ranging interview with Entertainment Weekly, Fringe star Joshua Jackson touches on a number of subjects. But it's his concern of the future of his show that has fans buzzing.

Faced with a drop down to 3.7 million viewers last week, the move to Fridays might not pay off for Fringe. Worries the actor:

"We really need our fans to tune in and watch us on Fridays. We did good when we first moved, but last week we did not have a good week, ratings-wise. It is going to take the people that like the show to watch the show and start the campaign and show their support if they want to see us stick around for another season.”

I love Fringe. It's my favourite show. We watch every episode on the computer with eager anticipation. I bought season 2 and plan to buy more. Please, please fight for the show! What can we do to save it besides watch the episodes? (We don't have T.V.)

I love the show, even though it is sometimes confusing. However, the worst confusion is changing the night it airs. Friday is the worst night possible. Many people are attending sporting events, social events, etc. Leaving it on another weekday evening would be much better.

First of all I would like to say that I love this show, it always keeps me on the edge of my seat guessing what will happen next. And I am also a huge fan of Joshua Jackson, he's quite easy on the eyes :)
I am up to date with the first two seasons of the show and started to watch the third season but the timing wasn't so great for me so I ended up watching the first two shows and then stopped from there and it isn't that I don't want to finish watching it because I definitely do I am now just waiting for the third season to come out on dvd as it is a lot easier to watch without those damn commercials its too bad the show couln't have signed on with HBO, then that would have been perfect. However I think that the ratings for the show have dropped quite rapidly since their first time slot change and where it is now moving to Friday nights that would make it so much more convenient for me to watch and if thats what it would take to keep the show going then I will definitely dedicate myself to watching Fridays nights.
