by at .

Does ABC have a new hit on its hands? Yes, based on last night's ratings for the premiere of Body of Proof.

Against stiff competition - new episodes of Parenthood and The Good Wife - the Dana Delany drama won its 10 p.m. timeslot, garnering 13.85 million viewers. The aforementioned CBS hit actually dropped to under 10 million eyeballs.

I am a body of proof fan. I looked forward to my Tuesday night's it did interfere with my sons of anarchy but I just recorded that at 11pm cause it shows several times.I hope it comes back. There are plenty of channel's for them to line up shows for everyone's taste. I don't care what time slot it has that's why most of us have a dvr and then you can skip commercials.

I thought Body of Proof was good. Not great. It did seem to have the exact same structure as House, but seen from a woman's perspective. Dana Delaney did a fine job portraying the troubled medical examiner, Dr. Megan Hunt, but the rest of the cast seemed somehow opaque and uninteresting. I'm guessing the next few episodes will get similar ratings to the premiere but will decrease notably during the second half-of the season, and it probably won't come back for a second season.

    I second that.

I'm pissed that Body of Proof, which by all accounts is a mediocre at best is taking away viewers from The Good Wife.
