The Borgias

The Borgias series premiere drew strong reviews from our critic Sunday night, setting the stage for a period drama of corruption and deceit unlike any other on television.

There's a lot going on as we look ahead to next week. His coffers depleted by an expensive rise to power, Rodrigo seeks funds through a profitable marriage for Lucrezia.

As His Corrupt Holiness looks to ally himself with Milan, he charges a fee for safe haven in the Holy City to Jews displaced by the Spanish Inquisition in "The Moor."
