Touch is another ambitious series from Tim Kring that is beautifully executed and has incredibly resonant themes for our times,” said Kevin Reilly, President of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. “With Kiefer back on the network as the face and force behind this creative new series, I’m confident it will resonate with viewers this spring.”

Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Danny Glover will also star.

"Every once in a while, you encounter a piece of material that you just cannot say no to,” Sutherland said. “That, combined with the opportunity to work again with Peter Chernin and the Fox studio and network, makes me thrilled to be a part of this project. I also look forward to working with an extraordinary writer and producer like Tim Kring.

I always though that Tim Kring and the majority of writers for Heroes (e.g. Jeph Joeb, Michael Green and Bryan Fuller) were great writers. That is until the last seasons of Heroes. i.e. what was the point of dragging on the character development. In comparison, to 24, the writers staff from mostly Stargate and etc, were amazing. There was great continuity and progression in the plot. Fingers crossed that this show is written well!

Kring better get/keep better writers than on Heroes.
