Following what many consider to be its best episode of the season, Ringer has become the first new drama to receive a full-season order of episodes. The CW made the announcement this afternoon.

Ringer was viewed by 1.7 million households last night, a slight uptick from previous outings. And star Kris Polaha told us that next Tuesday's installment will be equally buzz-worthy!

Sitcoms New Girl (Fox) Up All Night, Whitney (NBC)and 2 Broke Girls (CBS) have also been renewed for full first seasons.

UPDATE: The network has also now announced full season pick-ups for Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle. Says Mark Pedowitz, President of The CW:

“We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three of them. With compelling storylines, engaging characters and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.”

Ringer is amazing. More people need to give it a chance becaudr it definitely is so great at keeping up the suspense. It's got everything, mystery, suspense, love, drama in one. And Sarah Michelle Gellar is so compelling in her role as Siobhan and Bridget.

Happy about Secret Circle. I get to work more, now. Congrats other shows, too.

It is a great show! With a great cast and i think it needs some time to catch up some audience and be great! Okay it isn't perfect but I really fall for this show and I'm looking forward for Siobhan coming back! :D

@Gerald my thoughts exactly

Yes! I'm so happy, I really like this show and it keeps getting better. Now, I only need ABC to pick up Revenge and Suburgatory and I'll be officially over the moon!
