Flashpoint: Renewed for Season 5
The Strategic Response Unit will live to fight crime for another day. Or another 13 days, to be exact.
ION Television has picked up Flashpoint for season five, announcing today that production on the Toronto-based drama would kick off again next month.
Flashpoint debuted on Canada's CTV in 2008. It was briefly picked up by CBS, but then canceled... before returning to American television again on ION last year. That network acquired every episode from the first three seasons, along with all 11 from season four, delivering 2.1 million viewers for the season four finale on December 27.
Season five will consist of 13 episodes.
