The thing is, it's supposed to seem a little far-fetched to us, because unlike Jake, we can't see all these tiny little threads that tie people together. Stop trying to wrestle the pieces together, and just feel for it. It'll come to you, at least, that's what I did and I think I got it all straight in my head. I loved the challenge that this show presented, it's definitely one of those you want to pause before you get up to do something, otherwise you will miss something. :)

*bawling. "Balling" your eyes out just makes me think of a watermelon baller. That's a little gruesome.

I loved this show - although the first 15-20 minutes were pretty maudlin.

What hissed me off is that we won't get to see the show again until March. Seriously? How annoying is that?

Loved the scene where Kiefer climbed the tower and told his son he understood. Then, his son hugged him- I cried. Then, the kid handed him his cell phone he took from his pocket, letting Dad know that's how he communicates. Well done.

They did use the word autistic. The social worker explained it to dad.
The program will make it on it's actor's abilities.

I enjoyed seeing "Jack" back in action (huge "24" fan). I will definitely watch it again to see where the story is heading. The best part of the storyline for me was the fireman. I really was caught by surprise when Martin saw the news on TV and listened to his voicemail. Did not see that coming.

WOW...Powerful...Deep...Amazing...Intriguing...Captivating. Of course it's far fetched but so refreshing to have a show that touches so many emotions of viewers and has you on the edge of your seat. I can hardly wait for 3/19.

A little slow and maudlin, but the writing was sincere and the actors did a good job with the material.

The connection stories however were so numerous they could only be given cursory attention which kept me at arms length. I don't see how this premise will play week in and week out without becoming a repetitive weekly puzzle that Jack Bauer figures out in the nick of time to save a life, save a marriage, stop a crime, prevent internet bullying, etc. For those willing to suspend disbelief it offers an uplifting option.

Typical Kring show... the opening and end was like 'Heroes' (reflection by thoughts). Let's hope it gets better and not boring.
Loved the international part of the show...everyone is connected :-)

Your missing the underlining meaning of what's to come. Check out Mandelbrot set, Julia set, number 9 and the ratio of 1.618

great show, I got hooked in the intro.
By the way the jumbotron scene wasn't in times square it was in the shibuya crossing in Tokyo.

    cheers.

I swear I've seen this show before, was it aired before this, possibly online?

That is one of the best pilots I have ever seen and got me choked up. THat has never ever happened from a pilot before. I mean 5 seasons in is understandable but the pilot. Kiefer is amazing and so was the kid and I too am a huge fan of 24 and it is great to see him play a different role and still deliver the magic touch.

Thought this show was excellent. There is some truth to these coincidences and intuitive abilities and the meaning of numbers and energy on the show. Check out some writings of Doreen Virtue...This could be a show that actually comes to pass in reality....loved it...

Somewhat entertaining despite the major flaws. What's the main plot: random far fetched coincidences/crime prevention/a father and son's relationship/a muddled combination of all three?
