TV Ratings Report: A Gleeful Premiere?
The Glee Season 4 premiere features a new city, a new dance instructor, new New Directions and a new time slot.
But did the show return to its winning ways for Fox?
For the most part, yes.
While its 8.1 million total viewers was a 12 percent drop from the Glee Season 3 premiere, that figure represents an 8 percent increase from the May finale.
Moreover, Glee built on its X Factor lead-in among 18-49-year olds and matched the Bones Season 7 premiere numbers from a year ago.
Elsewhere, the America's Got Talent season finale won the evening overall with 10.5 million viewers, although this was a drop from last summer's finale.

Glee last night was really amazing, as much as I miss my faves that aren't on as regularly, I still was sooo happy with last nights premiere.... Also I'm still flabbergasted that the X Factor isn't doing better, the whole dynamic of the judges is really different from all the music shows on tv.... Give it a chance People!!
