TV Ratings Report: Elementary, Such Dear Ratings!
Ratings for CBS' much-hyped new drama last night were anything but Elementary, as Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu opened their series with 13.2 million viewers, actually beating last season's The Mentalist opener in a number of key demos.
Elsewhere: The Big Bang Theory set a season premiere record, while Fox saw its numbers decline in the face of real competition...

Not shocked for Grey's. Though people said "they'd stop watching, because Lexie died", I knew it wasn't going to happen.

I liked Elementary. The question is how will it hold up?

@B
I am well aware of this, but if Last Resort increases when TVD begins it run, it could be trouble with time slot as they both are geared to the same demos. TVD ratings started slipping last season and if ABC has something to offer to TVD demos now, it could very well lead to time slot shift or day changes to TVD, or shockingly lead to its cancellation (No one really though The OC was in danger when Grey's came along but guess what Grey's Anatomy did kill The OC).
I already know TVD doesn't do well with re-runs, no show does well with them anymore.

ABC actually did pretty solid. Last Resort did well for time slot ABC has trouble with and it actually really good. If ratings go up, TVD actually may be in trouble. If I recall Grey's killed The OC.
