Stud ex-NFL star gets no action? Unbelievable! Bring on Ruby. She's already challenged him in the election, and will do so in other ways as well ... as long as she lasts on the show. Maybe ultimately Lemon (if the show dares) but not yet and not for a while ... even when they win the election.

Bring on the new girl for George ... he's gonna have to step up his game to win Zoe from Wade's mad skills, and the new girl might be just the right wake up call :-)

Lemon is growing ... fun to watch, but she's got a long way to go. She needs an outsider love interest ... maybe someone from the town where her Mom lives. She needs a little walk on the wild side as well!

I loved Wade actually doing something for his "casual relationship thing" instead of backing off again like he did in ep.1.

I'll have to rewatch the episode again to comment on the rest of it.

But why isn't the time now for George and Zoe? Really if they love each other so much everything will work out, right? I mean they are meant to be after all. Instead we have once again Zoe stringing George along and keeping him on the back burner. George seems oblivious. Zoe is lying to herself, Wade, and George. If she wants George no one is stopping her from being with him. At least this time he doesn't have a fiancee.

Instead she thinks she has a no strings thing with Wade, but she conveniently tied strings around the guy so that he doesn't even know how to act around women right now. And she couldn't even hold up to her own agreement. Sorry her supposed feelings for George just don't cut it. Either be with George or wake up and realize she likes Wade and wants him. Otherwise leave Wade alone and stop stringing him along as well.

It had a few really great moments between Zoe and Wade but just like that, in one episode, I'm reminded that they'll never stray far from their sole focus of this show... :/

Just when the show made strides last week with Zoe and Wade we take a step back with Zoe admitting to George that she is just with Wade for now cause basically it is not her and George's time. Yes she did not want to keep it casual with Wade as she seems to really like him. I do not like what she is doing to Wade then if that is the case! I am liking Lemon more but now they are going to have her and Annabeth fighting over Lavon rather than Lemon and Zoe fighting over George..same storyline! However I predict Lavon will ge together with Ruby.
I loved Wade calling George "Backdraft".
You can tell Wade really cares for Zoe and is taking the relationship seriously, except I do not know why he was making up excuses when girls were hitting on him! Just say you are in a relationship!

i can see wade´s big bad cowboy heart get broken and the crumbs of it spilled all over bluebell. darn, thats gonna be really really sad. that man fell in love and I hope the certain someone realizes soon enough.

I think Lemon is my new favorite character this year! I love to watch the scenes she is in with Levon.

Thanks to the producers for giving us George/Zoe fans something to chew on for a bit :)

Was anyone else convinced George was going to watch the tape of him sleeping and accidentally see the recording of Z/W's earlier shenanigans? He has to find out eventually, and I'm 100% certain that when he does, we'll get some shaming from him/unnecessary apologizing from Zoe (I like George a lot; I just wish people would recognize that his actions and attitudes speak louder than the Gentlemanly Nice Guy Can Do No Wrong labels.)

Zoey is acting like a HYPOCITE...she MADE the rules. This is a repeat of what George did to Lemon last season. I bet Zoey will leave Wade at the end of this season for George. Since the beginning (show) Zoey has acted like a self centered brat and continues to do so...not only with Wade but the other characters. She was hurt last week because she thought Wade was cheating, so, she turns around and does the very thing she accused Wade of during. I can respect she if she has feeling for George, but, "Woman Up" and go be with him and stop acting like a child.

I really like the George/Zoe combo even though now is definitely not the right time for them. I am glad they are doing their own thing, and I am having a lot of fun watching Zoe/Wade in the meantime. However it is obvious that Zoe/George will be together at some point and I think it is important to keep showing some sort of connection with them from time to time, otherwise when it does happen everyone will cry that is came out of nowhere, kwim?

What I like about Wade and Zoe is the fact that Wade almost immediately sees throught Zoe's crap and can tell what's really going on. He knows her well....and I don't feel that can be said for George. Frankly George is the immature one. Zoe was right when she said that he was just waiting it out, dating all these silly women, until Zoe said 'ok' and they could date. I have to give props to Zoe for seeing that and calling him on it. I also was happy that Zoe told Wade that she stil does have feelings for George; instead of lying to him and herself. I don't want Zoe with George, but I'm happy that she's totally honest with Wade. I'm sorry but they are just too freakin' cute togheter. And as George said to the girl at the end, he needs someone who challenges him....I think Wade is the that for Zoe.
Lemon sort of bugged me in this. Because she was lying to herself and others about the real reason she didn't want Lavon and Annabeth to pretend they were dating. If Lemon can't have it, no o

LOVED this episode, but then again I love George/Zoe. I think they have great chemistry. Loved all the other story lines as well. Enjoyed every minute! Well done HoD

I really enjoyed this episode. For all the "sleepwalking" silliness, it was exciting to see George and Zoe admit that they still have feelings for each other. They are beyond adorable, and even though the time isn't right now, I hope they are the "long game" of the show. I was also happy to see Lavon/Lemon getting closer to realizing that there is still feelings between them as well. I love seeing Lavon's integrity (he deserves all of the women falling all over him!)and Lemon's growth on a weekly basis. I agree that Zoe has a lot of growing up to do. As cute as Wade is, I REALLY can't stand this "casual monogamy" game they are playing. It's ridiculous and pathetic. If you want to be together, then grow up and BE together. That's all. Overall, wonderful episode.

    Great EPISODE!
    The Zoey,Wade,George triangle:
    - the slight glimps of jealously I saw in Wade's eyes, was just enough for this episode. he cares, and that is what girls want to know.
-the George-Zoey chemistry is really good. they neglected their relationship since ep one. and coming back now made it even more intense.
-and this new girl for George or Male Wade seems really interesting.

    The Lavon,Lemon,Annabeth,Ruby-multipleangle:
-Lamon she shone like never before she was honest, loveable and more Human. She is becoming the girl for Lavon just a bit more a few steps. . .
-Lavon! He developing back and forward is making him really! They are showing he is making mistakes and that is making his character grow!
-Annabeth! She is my favourite S1 recurring character. She is really interesting and could be a great asset to the show if she stays.
-Ruby! hmmmmmmm! Don't know what to think about her. I love her and hate her! Would love for her to stay for more.

I loved most of this episode. It was entertaining, sentimental, humorous, everything I wanted from HoD. My biggest beef was the Annabelle actually liking Lavon angle. Can opposite sex not interact in this show without crushing/lusting after one another? It would've been better if the Annabelle crush didn't exist. Then we could've had an episode focusing on JUST Lavon's character growth. Then Lemon can maybe use her disapproval of Lavon's schemes to do some self-introspection about all the terrible schemes she's pulled in the past. Then BAM! Lemon and Lavon can find equal grounds to be friends.

Also, George/new girl. I am a HUGE George fan, so I'm happy that he's finally realizing that being the nice guy isn't everything. He needs to be himself without all the pre-wedding drama. This new chick is going to give even Zoe a run for her money. Excited!!

  16. wow

correction...It's one week last and she in another man's face...

  17. wow

Amen M... Zoey needs to grow up...she is constantly screwing over people if it's not Wade it Lavone or Lemon etc. If I were Wade I would not have been so forgiving. She talked all that crap last week about hoop ons and socks on doors (again she was wrong) and here she is one week later in another man's face (ready to kiss).

  18. M

I'm kind of sick reading "blahblah, it's what Zoe deserves". What about Wade? In previous episodes, Zoe has treated him basically with just as much immaturity, if not more! So how about Zoe gets "matured up" and be the person Wade deserves hmm? I find her incredibly egocentric, but I'm glad in this episode the imbalance was sort of addressed.

So far, I've enjoyed Lemon grow as a character, and am excited to see what happens to her relationship with Lavon. I'm not a big fan of Ruby, but hey, she's a great tool to instigating character growth.

  19. wow

I have DOUBTS about Z...to put herself in that situation (knowing her feeling) was totally CRAZY. This is what pisses me off about her...the constant dumb decisions. I couldn't believe the hand holding...asking George if they were happy together etc. This is last season's crap. She is the one who told G to move on...so why she keeps going back to him is beyond me. If she gonna be with him then do it...stop being such a hypocrite. LOL the sleepwalking was lame. Does G not have a job anymore? I was happy with Wade too.

It really feels like they've moved past that "hook" and have done a great job of developing real characters and relationships that don't require all the soapy drama to tell a good story.

  21. T

I didn't love this ep as much as others this season, in part because of G/Z once again rearing its ugly head. They simply do not have any romantic chemistry together (let's just say, George wasn't the only one falling asleep during their scenes). I'd much rather see them be friends. It was particularly stupid because, as the review stated, the whole set-up to get them to admit lingering feelings (that no one in the audience really believed were gone anyway!) was entirely contrived. I do like that George was forced to acknowledge that going through the motions wasn't enough. (And I like that Wade forced Zoe to acknowledge she should be held to the same rules he agreed to. If only she would acknowledge that their relationship is serious and she has actual feelings for him...)

I also didn't care for Lemon re-realizing feelings for Lavon, because I had hoped we were past that too. I'm just...I'm SO SICK of the convoluted love triangles on this show! It really feels like they've moved pa
