TV Ratings Report: Big Night for The CW
With most networks bumping a majority of their primetime shows for the Vice Presidential Debate last night, The CW scored big with the Season 4 premiere of The Vampire Diaries and the series debut of Beauty and the Beast.
Both broke the three million viewer barrier for the network, as rundown in our full ratings report below...
8 p.m.
The Vampire Diaries: 3.5 million viewers
Last Resort: 6.9 million
The X Factor: 8.3 million
The Big Bang Theory: 13.7 million/Two and a Half Men: 11.7 million
30 Rock: 3.8 million/Up All Night: 3.5 million
At 9 p.m., Beauty and the Beast drew 3.2 million viewers, a very impressive figure for a very poorly review series.
All other networks wired Joe Biden vs. Paul Ryan.

I'm with @Whateva; once Grey's is back on, Beauty and the Beast will plummet. Nevertheless, congrats on the ratings!

1. Overall viewership doesn't 'really count, you should be looking at the 18-49 demo. Why don't you post that?
2. The CW was preempted for football so these numbers will surely go down and may not be as impressive.
