Britney Spears Quits X Factor: Will She Be Missed?
According to multiple reports, Britney Spears will not return for The X Factor Season 3.
No official word has come in yet from Fox, but E! News cites a source who says Simon Cowell found her critiques "boring," while TMZ claims Britney simply wants to focus on a new album and tour.
L.A. Reid is also departing the competition, while Demi Lovato is expected to stick around.
Although The X Factor just took home a People's Choice Award, ratings for Season 2 were mediocre at best and many viewers complained about the over-production of numbers, along with the atrocious Khloe Kardashian as host.
