TV Ratings Report: An Idol Decline

There was bad news and a tiny bit of good news for Fox last night, as the American Idol Season 12 premiere fell 19 percent from the Season 11 opener, earning 17.8 million viewers and a 6.0 rating in the young adult demographic.

But, hey, that's better than the 24 percent decline this series suffered from between Seasons 10 and 11! Read on for a full Wednesday rundown...
