The CW Pushes Cult to Friday Nights

Let the talk of Matt Davis somehow returning to The Vampire Diaries begin.

Following back to back episodes that each failed to garner one million viewers, Cult has been pushed to Friday nights by The CW. It's final episodes will be burned off then at 9 p.m., starting on March 8.

In the show's previous time slot, the network will air encore episodes of various programs, beginning on March 5 with Beauty and the Beast.

Cult premiered to just 860,000 viewers and a 0.3 demographic rating on February 19. Its second installment failed to improve on those numbers in any noticeable fashion.
