TV Ratings Report: Not Very Golden

by at . Comments

Golden Boy premiered on CBS last night, earning a 1.8 rating in the 18-49-year old demographic and not exactly setting the dial on fire.

As always, however, that network used a double helping of NCIS-inspired drama to win the night in total viewers. By a large margin.

I might be going out on alimb as I don't know how exactly the calculations are made but AFAIK the ratings are more important than the amount of viewers and 1.8 is below CBS's standard & quite low for a series premiere.

How is 10.4 million bad? It did far better than Body of Proof and Smash. Smash is not doing well! I like this season but the numbers are pretty bad, Parenthood had almost double the viewers in the same time slot.
Why are people not tuning into Cult? It is a great show!

I can't believe ANYONE watched Body of Proof. What a waste of tv time. Unbelievable stick figures prancing around a crime. Lasted ten minutes and won't make that mistake again.
