TV Ratings Report: Smash and Burn
It looks like Bombshell bombed both on screen and in real life last night, as the Smash Season 2 premiere sank to a 1.1 rating among 18-49-year olds and garnered just 4.5 million viewers overall. That's a 70% drop from the Season 1 opener.
Both figures are below the Parenthood season finale that aired in that same time slot last month, which is great news for Braverman fans... and less than great news for Broadway-on-television fans.

Raising Hope: 4 million/Raising Hope: 3.6 million
The Taste: 5.3 million
Hart of Dixie: 1.4 million

NCIS Los Angeles: 16.5 million
Smash: 4.5 million
New Girl: 4.8 million/The Mindy Project: 3.6 million
The Bachelor: 7.7 million
Emily Owens M.D.: 1.5 million
10 p.m.
Vegas: 10.1 million
Smash: 4 million

I was going to watch this show until I found out Josh Safran was now the showrunner, so I am going to deny the devil my ratings.

i would've preferred to be hit with something big over my head than reading these abysmal ratings for Smash, it deserved a lot more.

I hated the end of emily owens, hopefully someone over at the CW gets some sense knocked into them and it gets picked up. I think if that scene continues that one of them comes to their senses because Micah is so much better then Will.

Nice exit for Emily Owens! Good bye to a great show! We(I) will miss U! I didn't liked the final it felt to fast paced and hate that E ended up with Will. But it was a really funny and honest episode. Loved Micah sister, shame she isn't a doctor or nurse at least! ;)
