The beginning of Walter White's end will take place on August 11.

AMC announced today that the back half of Breaking Bad Season 5 will kick off on Sunday, August 11 at 9/8c. Only eight episodes remain for what many consider to be the best show on television.

Low Winter Sun, meanwhile, will makes it debut immediately following the Breaking Bad premiere.

The new series stars Mark Strong and Lennie James and is set in Detroit. It is based on a 2006 British mini series that tells the tale of a local detective who kills a cop and is subsequently dragged into the city's dangerous underworld.
