Last night on the season finale of The Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock found love and an engagement.

And soon after she and Chris Siegfried announced their relationship to the world, ABC followed up with an announcement of its own:

Juan Pablo Galavis will be the next Bachelor!

The in-studio crowd seemed to love the selection of the 32-year old singer father and former soccer player from Venezuela.

"I'm going to find hopefully the person who is going to join me and my daughter. That's what I'm looking for," he told Chris Harrison on air.
