TV Ratings Report: Agents of SHIELD Slips

at .

Not even a surprise cameo by Samuel L. Jackson could save Agents of SHIELD this week.

The new ABC series garnered 8.4 million viewers and a 3.1 18-49-year old rating last night, a decrease of 31 and 34 percent, respectively, from its series premiere. Such low figured bled into a low night overall for ABC, as recounted below in our full ratings rundown. (NOTE to Lucky 7 viewers: don't get too invested in this series.)
