Penny Dreadful Trailer: Ready to Be Scared?

In a word? YIKES!

Showtime has come out with the first trailer for Penny Dreadful, an eight-episode series written by John Logan, directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and set to freak each of its viewers the heck out.

Penny Dreadful centers around Dr. Frankenstein and his monsters and also includes Dorian Gray and figures from the Dracula novel.

It stars Josh Hartnett, Eva Green, Timothy Dalton and Billie Piper and, well, it looks totally freaky and awesome. Get ready for a spooky premiere on May 11 and watch the teaser now:
