The Flash in Full: First Look!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

The CW has given us our first look at Grant Gustin making like Barney Stinson.

Yup, he's all suited up!

After giving fans a preview of this actor donning the famous coming book character mask, the network has now released a photo of Gustin in full Flash apparel.

He's ready for action here as The CW's version of this very, very, very fast superhero:

It's The Flash!

Gustin, of course, appeared on a pair of Arrow Season 2 episodes last year.

He'll anchor an upcoming pilot that still has to be ordered to series by the network - but it seems like a foregone conclusion at this point.

In addition to Gustin, the cast is comprised of Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, Candice Patton and Carlos Valdes.

The Flash is one of several spinoffs planned across the dial. Others include:

How I Met Your Mother
How I Met Your Dad is coming to CBS. Will it live up to the high bar set by How I Met Your Mother?

The Flash Quotes

Cisco: That's pretty ironic. The guy specialized in cloning and now he can make Xeroxes of himself.
Harrison: If he was experimenting on himself when he was exposed to the dark matter wave released by the particle accelerator explosion...
Cisco: Meet Captain Clone! Don't worry, I'll come up with something cooler.

Joe: You were wrong.
Barry: I have been wrong a lot this week. You're gonna have to be more specific.
Joe: You said that one of the things driving you to run around out there was that you couldn't help your dad. You can help him. We can. We're gonna figure out who or what killed your mother that night and then we're gonna get your father out of prison. Together.
Barry: Joe, what I said about you not being my father...
Joe: Barry, I know. I know I'm not your father.
Barry: You're right. You're not. You're just the man who kept me fed and in clothes, who sat on my bed at night until I fell asleep because I was afraid of the dark. You helped me with my homework, you taught me how to drive and shave and you dropped me off at college. It sounds a lot like a dad to me.
