2014 Emmy Race: Who Should Win Leading Actor in a Drama?

A day after documenting the Best Drama race at this year's Emmys, we're sticking in this same department, but shifting our focus to the acting side.

This year's ceremony features two clear favorites, neither of whom will be seen in his indelible role ever again: Bryan Cranston as Walter White and Matthew McConaughey as Rust Cohle.

Other nominees include Cohle's partner; the anchor of The Newsroom; and an ad executive adjusting to a world in which he's no longer needed. We run down the nominees here:
