Good news, ABC Family Fanatics:
The network just announced that Switched at Birth has been renewed for a fourth season.
The series, one of basic cable’s strongest dramas this summer, ranked as cable television top program in its time period across a number of female demographics.
"Fans will be clamoring for season four and to know what happens with Daphne and Bay after the season three finale next week,” said ABC Family President Tom Ascheim in making the announcement.
Assuming the network follows protocol, it’s likely we’ll get another split season in 2015, with the season 4 premiere taking place some time in January.
The Switched at Birth Season 3 finale airs on Monday, August 18 at 8p.m. ET/PT on ABC Family.
