Carrie Matheson will NOT be bringing up baby on Homeland Season 4.

Showtime has released an extended trailer for new episodes of this intense drama and it depicts Carrie going about a mission in Istanbul, practically as far away as possible from the child she brought into the world just a few months prior.

Among other scenes depicted in the promo, Carrie's sister accuses her of purposely leaving her baby behind, while we also see Carrie accepting Saul's offer to help... a lot of Corey Stoll as the CIA Station Chief in Pakistan... and what appears to be a PR catastrophe for the agency.

Carrie also yells a lot.

Homeland Season 4 Preview

Homeland Season 4 kicks off with back-to-back episodes on Sunday, October 5.

Neither Brody nor members of his family will play a role this fall, as the series reboots a bit after a rocky third season.
