Ready to go inside the White House?

In NBC's new political drama, State of Affairs, we not only get the TV return of Katherine Heigl (Grey's Anatomy), but we're also given a window into the inner workings of our government via the President's secret weapon.

In this case, that weapon is Heigl's Charleston Tucker.

In this exclusive first look, Heigl shows us Tucker working alongside POTUS - portrayed by Alfre Woodard - while we also meet Executive Producer Rodney Faraon (ex-briefer to two Presidents) and Executive Producer Henry Crumpton (former CIA operative), two men who know this world very well.

According to Crumpton, State of Affairs is "current and relevant" to what's going on in the world. Will you be giving it a chance? Let's take a look.

State Of Affairs premieres November 17 at 10/9c on NBC.
