TV Ratings Report: How High Did Peter Pan Fly?

at .

Peter Pan didn't exactly crash and burn on NBC last night, but the network's latest musical production didn't soar in the ratings, either.

About 9.1 million households tuned in for Peter Pan Live!, only half as many as watched The Sound of Music in December of 2013.

Still, the production did deliver the Peacock its second highest-rated non-sports Thursday in three years.

ELSEWHERE around the dial...

  • On The CW, The Vampire Diaries Season 6 episode 9 (1.5 million/0.7 rating among 18-49-year old) dropped down a tenth to match its series low, while Reign (1.25 million/0.5) went up 14 percent and two tenths.
  • On Fox, Bones (6 million/1.5) shot up 13 percent and two tenths, while the second to last episode of Gracepoint (3.6 million/0.9) was up 17 percent and two tenths.
  • On ABC, The Taste matched its Season 2 finale audience with 3.3 million viewers.
  • On CBS, Mom (10.6 million/2.5) held steady, while Two and a Half Men (10.4 million/2.5), The McCarthys (8.3 million/2.0) and Elementary (8.6 million/1.8) all enjoyed small bumps.
