Eye Candy: Canceled by MTV

MTV has brought the axe down on Eye Candy.

The network has cancelled the freshman thriller after just one season, a rep for MTV has confirmed, as has star Victoria Justice.

"I wanted you guys to hear it from me first, that the cast and I received news that Eye Candy will not be returning for Season 2,” the actress Tweeted on Saturday, adding:

“Even though a lot of you are going to feel sad/angry, please know that playing Lindy Sampson, is something that I loved and I will hold dear to my heart."

Eye Candy simply struggled to garner ratings throughout its first season run, and our renewal scoreboard has been updated accordingly:
