Remember the Saved By the Bell episode in which Zack, Screech, Slater and company realized the horrors of drug use?
How they came to the conclusion that there's simply "no hope with dope" and that it's "dumb" and "stupid" and "crazy" to mess with various substances?
Well, the Philadelphia Police Department surely remembers.
And it has unveiled a new PSA that is pretty much a carbon copy of this former, fictional PSA, airing the full fake commercial in its entirety while simply Photoshopping the Police Commissioner's face over that of former NBC President Brandon Tartikoff.
Again, this is real. This is actually airing across local Philadelphia television stations right now. Amazing.
