The Bachelor Season 20: First Look!

ABC is all set to ring in the new year with a brand new Bachelor.

The network will kick off Season 20 (yes, Season 20!) of this intense, emotional reality competition on January 4, with Ben Higgins serving as this season's prized piece of single man meat.

The 27-year old software salesman from Denver finished third on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the show - and he’s featured below in a trailer that also gives us a look at the suitors who will be vying for Ben's heart this winter.

"I think it’s a great opportunity," Higgins told Us Weekly in June  of being named The Bachelor.

"I think it’s something that any man, if asked, should consider. And I’ve been in the process now and I can see that it works."

As one of several surprises likely on tap for Season 20, E! News has posted footage of Higgins finding out that twin sisters will both be competing for his affections in 2016.

"No way," he says in the clip. "Group hug?"

"Cheers to the hottest man in America," one of these sisters also says.

That may be pouring it on a bit thick. Ryan Gosling does still exist, doesn't he?
