at .  Updated at .

With pretty much every show on their holiday hiatus, this Friday before Christmas was littered with encores and specials.

NBC came in first place with Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon securing 3.4 million viewers and a 0.7 rating among people 18-49. That led into the always reliable Dateline, which managed 5.7 million viewers and a 1.1 rating.

Cooking Up A Treat

The only other show that posted decent numbers was Fox's Masterchef Junior which cooked up 3.9 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. That was down a tick for the veteran series. World's Funniest continued to be a bust at just 1.8 million viewers and a 0.6 rating.

And elsewhere around the dial:

  • On ABC, Last Man Standing (4.6 million/0.7 rating), Yes Virginia (2.6 million/0.5 rating), Shark Tank (3.7 million/0.8 rating) and 20/20 (3.3 million/0.7 rating) all did okay.
  • On CBS, Frosty The Snowman (4.4 million/0.9 rating), A Home For The Holidays (3.3 million/0.6 rating) and an encore of Blue Bloods (6.6 million/0.8 rating) all did decently.
  • And on The CW, Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer (1.4 million/0.4 rating) and Penn and Teller: Fool Us (1.3 million/0.3 rating) were both encores.
