TV Ratings Report: The Big Bang Theory Dominates

The Big Bang Theory dominated the TV landscape on Thursday night.

The Big Bang Theory Season 9 Episode 11 managed 17.4 million viewers and a 4.1 rating among people 18-49. That led into Life In Pieces, which hit 11.2 million viewers and 2.5 rating. Both shows were up a tick from last week. Mom matched last week's numbers with 9.6 million viewers and a 2.0 rating.

2 Broke Girls (7.3 million/1.7 rating) and Elementary (6.4 million/1.2 rating) both ticked down from last week.

And elsewhere around the dial:

  • On Fox, American Country Countdown (2.7 million/0.5 rating) and World's Funniest (1.8 million/0.5 rating) both garnered low ratings. 
  • On NBC, How The Murray Saved Christmas (2.2 million viewers/0.5 rating), Kelly Clarkson's Christmas Tale (3.5 million/0.6 rating) and Running Wilde With Bear Grylls (3.5 million/0.9 rating) all posted disappointing results.
  • On The CW, iHeartRadio's (1.1 million/0.4 rating) Jingle Ball was in line with regular programming.
  • And on ABC, Disney Prep and Landing (3.4 million/0.8 rating) and Modern Family (3.2 million/0.9 rating) led into Top 10 Fascinating People of 2015 (6 million/1.0 rating).
